Julia Michaelson On Her Inspiring Fitness Journey with Green Peaks

Hello Green Peaks lovers, followers, or just new to the partiers,


I have been using Green Peaks protein for about 2 years now. Not only has their protein powered my active lifestyle, but also, they give back! It’s a win-win-win situation, eat good, do good, feel good. Before I dive into their awesome new supplements, I will tell you a little bit about me.

I am from good ol’ Chocolate Town, PA aka Hershey, PA. Every day I woke up, went to school, danced for hours on end, studied, slept, and repeat. Growing up I was on the heavier side…well the 98th percentile, doctors were really concerned heavier side. So, I was known and seen as the bigger dancer. This led to a lot of unhealthy relationships with food, body image, and exercise. I really had no idea how damaging this was to my body until a lot later in life.

About halfway through college, 2 years ago, I started to feel an overwhelming amount of frustration with myself and my health. I was working out harder than any other dancer and was eating what I considered to be “healthy foods”, but I just felt so well blah. Sluggish. Unhappy. Nothing good. Then the pandemic hit.

After moving back home I shortly began to realize I needed help. Fortunately, I found a nutritionist. She taught me everything about what my body needed. During this time, I also began to really investigate what exercise meant to me. It became my stress outlet, my feel good about being strong outlet, my confidence builder, and so much more. I was able to form new relationship with food, exercise, and my body as a whole.


I started to develop a real passion for wellness, especially the power of group movement. So, I became a certified group fitness instructor. My goal in every class I teach is to make people feel proud of at least one thing they did that day. Exercise is something that people should feel good about, not use it to punish their bodies!!

Somewhere along this timeline I found Green Peaks…

Because of the relationship I used to have with food, I developed a lot of dietary problems, so I found a lot of other protein powders were difficult to digest. However, Green Peaks protein has been one of the ones that has completely agreed with me body!! Thanks to Green Peaks I stay fueled up and ready to conquer my busy active days. Whether that be having to teach two classes a day, or running 16 miles (yes, I also fell in love with running over the years) or getting through 3 hours of intense professional dance rehearsals. Green Peaks has me covered, so when I found out they had a new product it had to be good!

Now, I have never taken any other supplements other than protein powder before this, but all I know is these Turmeric Gummies are a game changer!! I have been taking one a day and can feel a huge difference in my energy levels and mood. They not only improve how I feel after I work out, but also taste so good. They are the easiest bite. I have loved incorporating them into my diet. They will be something I will be enjoying from here on out.

I currently am a full-time student, part time fitness instructor, and part time professional NBA Dancer…one could say I am a little busy, but these gummies keep me FOCUSED and ENERGIZED.

These gummies though, are for everyone. The gummies are great for pre/post workouts, and rest days…just great for life in general.
